The Author: David P. Maxson is currently C.E.O of Isotrope, LLC. David was previously the managing partner of Broadcast Signal Lab, LLP. David also consults with emerging wireless and broadcasting technology companies. For twenty years, David served Boston’s classical music broadcaster, WCRB, and was its Vice President, Director of Engineering. David has been participating in digital broadcasting developments for over a decade, including participating with the National Radio Systems Committee (NRSC) Digital Radio Broadcasting Subcommittee’s efforts to test, evaluate, and standardize IBOC broadcasting. He is a Senior Engineer member of the IEEE, and has published and presented numerous technical papers on IBOC signal measurement technique and on data broadcasting technology.
